Hearts on the Field Foundation
who are we?
Hearts on the Field Foundation was founded by Alexis Torres and Emmalie Arzate, two local high school students, with a dream and passion to address the urgent need for comprehensive cardiac safety in youth sports. According to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, approximately 2,000 young lives are lost to sudden cardiac arrest in the U.S. each year. This is a devastating statistic that further enhances the importance of HOFF's mission.
As a newly established California nonprofit public benefit corporation, our mission is driven by the belief that every young athlete deserves the opportunity to safely pursue their passion. We are dedicated to empowering our community with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent sudden cardiac arrest deaths and protect the lives of our fellow student athletes.
Hearts on the Field Foundation is a legally registered nonprofit organization in the state of California. California entity number: B20250225640.
